About the Role
We are looking for a Personal Care Aide to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The Personal Care Aide will provide companionship to individuals in their homes while assisting with task such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errand. The Personal Care Aide will also provide support to individuals and their families.
• Provide companionship and support to individuals and their families
• Monitor and report changes in the individual’s condition
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Assist with errands and transportation
• Assist with daily exercise and physical therapy
• Adhere to HIPPA policies and procedures
Requirements
• Must be at least 18 year of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or or in a related field
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and their families
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
